Jenna & Joel - A Cedar Haven Wedding in Sooke, BC

Jenna & Joel celebrated their wedding on Vancouver Island in Sooke. The weekend before their wedding, the island experienced a torrential downpour. Luckily, that rain helped keep all the ferns as luscious as could be and the rain held off for Jenna & Joel’s special day.

I felt a connection with these two from day 1 when we met up, shared nachos and they told me that they wanted to go hiking and find an epic spot for their engagement shoot. I was like yup, these two are my dream clients. Everything about Jenna & Joel is epic - the adventures they go on, the love they share for each other, and the fact that they chose a HUGE cinnamon bun as a replacement for a cake on their wedding day. I’m telling you, they’re just the best kind of people!

If you’re ever unsure of what Jenna & Joel are up to… chances are they’re off hiking with their adorable pup, Hudson, who couldn’t be at their wedding but I thought deserved a shout-out for being such a good doggo.

I could ramble on about them for a long time because they’re such great people - but I’m sure you’ll get a feel for what I mean just by looking at some photos from their special day.
