Kaila and Jon’s spring 2023 wedding at Sun Peaks was an unforgettable adventure! The rain held off just long enough for their gorgeous ceremony, but things got exciting when we took the chairlift up the mountain for photos. Cue a thunderstorm with lightning and all! The chairlift shut down, so we hitched a ride back down in a random employee’s truck (bet you’ve never gone down the 5 mile that way before..). Despite the chaos, we made it to dinner on time, and their day turned into one for the books. Sun Peaks weddings may be unpredictable, but they’re always magical!
