Seanna & Will - A Tin Poppy Wedding

Seanna & Will got married at the Tiny Poppy Retreat near Salmon Arm last September. Their fall wedding had the most gorgeous views of the valley and the leaves were turning colours already.

Their day was extremely laidback. This is one of the things I love about tiny weddings - that stressed out feeling about making people wait just disappears. It’s just your small crowd of the most important people to you and you can take your time and adjust the schedule of the day as needed. The girls soaked up their time getting pampered, and the venue handled pretty much everything for them! They organized the florals, the food, the decor, the cake, etc.

One of my favourite parts of being a wedding photographer is socializing with the guests. This wedding was really special to me because I found out that Seanna’s Grandma worked with my Grandma back in the day! It’s quite comical how many connections you can find with people if you take the time to chat.

I met Seanna & Will in Kamloops for their engagement session and I knew right off the bat that their wedding would be really special. Since their wedding I’ve also had the honour of taking photos of them with their new pup, Copper!
